Tent Mountain mine, the Company's most advanced project, has an environmental approval, making the project significantly more advanced in development timeline than its local competitors. The environmental approval requires amendment to begin mining which is estimated to begin in 2020.
A recent review of the Tent Mountain coal quality, conducted by an industry expert, suggests that the coal is very similar to the medium to higher volatile hard coking coals currently being produced from the Elk Valley region.
