Tent Mountain is the immediate priority for development and subsequent production, owing to its high quality coal, low stripping ratio and proximity to infrastructure.

The Tent Mountain Property is located approximately 16 km west of Coleman and consists of Alberta Crown Coal Mineral Leases, Alberta Freehold coal lands, and British Columbia Crown Coal Licenses. All mining, however, is currently planned to occur in Alberta. A total of five coal seams have been identified on this property.

The Alberta segment of Tent Mountain is the economic immediate priority for development and subsequent production, owing to its high quality coal, large quantity resource, proximity to infrastructure and favorable seam geometries.

Tent Mountain possesses an active Coal Mine Permit and an active EPEA, making this project significantly more advanced than its direct competitors.

Tent Mountain is strategic in location and possesses excellent access to infrastructure. Moreover, it shares the same high quality coal seams as those in its neighboring properties. This ultimately increases the confidence level associated with the world class in-place resources and coal quality of Tent Mountain.

Adding to this, a recent review of the Tent Mountain coal quality, conducted by an independent industry expert, suggests that the coal quality is very similar to the medium to higher volatile hard coking coals currently being produced from the Elk Valley region.

The company is therefore moving towards production of Tent Mountain in the second half of the 2018 calendar year.
